Keira Knightley graciously returns 2010

Keira Knightley has been hiding. Or, so it has seemed over the past year odd, given how little we've seen of her. In a welcome return she was spotted this week looking classically beautiful as always - richly brown hair long and waved - at the afterparty of Little Dog Laughed in London.

I might add that I haven't always been so welcoming of Keira; a phenomenon explained in an article in the Telegraph, which questions why "the mention of her name prompts women of every age to spring forward, enthralled and enraged, to postulate on the size of her pout, bosom and talent." Apparently, we're jealous.

refined simplicity

We've seen a gazillion one shouldered dresses since we wrote about the trend back in 2008. The same can be said for cutaway clothing, which has also become supremely popular. So it takes a bit of thought to work these two trends into something that still feels fresh, and the simple elegance of Pucci's black maxi-dress with sheer mesh and lace detailing - part of the Pre-Fall 2010 collections - narrowly but cleanly his the mark.

Bianca Balti goes

Turning fantasy into fashion reality with fur and horns, Where The Wild Things Are has again come straight out of the book pages and into a high end fashion magazine. Bianca Balti is the latest model to don the horns, and by matching them with a ripped tee and a sultry pose she has taken this look to a more sensual level.
